Hand Sculpted in Virtual Reality by JOY

JOY immersively creates sculptures and worlds using the power of virtual and augmented reality. With a VR headset, two controllers, and a powerful PC, JOY hand sculpts and paints each creation out of thin air.

  • Software: Medium by Adobe
  • Additional Tools: Camlink for capturing VR footage to M1 Mac, GoPro for first person perspective mixed reality.

  • Headset: HTC Vive, Google Daydream, Samsung Gear VR, Oculus Go, Rift, Rift S, Oculus Quest 2

The Oculus Quest Pro, when linked to a PC, provides a high-performance, wireless VR experience that allows for even greater freedom of movement and expression. The software, Medium by Adobe, is a powerful sculpting and painting tool that offers a wide range of brushes and tools for creating highly detailed and realistic sculptures. Additionally, JOY uses Camlink to capture VR footage to an M1 Mac and GoPro for first-person perspective mixed reality, which allows for even more dynamic and immersive creations.
